Understanding the speech-reduction result
The manufacturer-tested specification is greater than 29 dB speech level reduction under ISO 23351-1. It describes measured speech reduction under test conditions—not complete silence, the same reduction for every sound, or a guarantee of confidentiality.
Consider the surrounding office
Door seals, assembly, nearby activity and background sound affect the installed experience. Think about people inside and outside the pod. For sensitive discussions, evaluate the installed pod in its actual environment and follow your organisation's privacy practices.
Look at the complete enclosure
Aluminium framing, laminated glass and layered sound-insulating and sound-absorbing materials form the enclosure. Review complete-pod test documentation rather than comparing it directly with an individual material rating. Request documents for the selected model and supplied configuration.
Make the space comfortable
Adjust ventilation speed, LED brightness and colour temperature from the internal controls. Standard ventilation exchanges air with the surrounding room; it does not refrigerate or purify that room's air. Optional cooling is a separate equipment choice.
Match the format to the task
Solo and Solo Plus are single-person formats. Duo and Team offer two-person formats; Meet is positioned for up to four people and Max for up to six. Capacity depends on furniture. Compare usable interior space and layout alongside the headline seat count.
