The setting
This Brisbane organisation works in workplace health and wellbeing. Its staff shared an open-plan office, but they also needed a dedicated setting for consultations.
The brief was straightforward: make room for those conversations within the workplace they already had.
The pod
A FocusPod Meet was installed within the office. The photographed configuration pairs grey upholstered seating with a shared table, behind a glass frontage.
The arrangement gives the consultation space a clear place in the open plan, while keeping the surrounding office visible. The seating and table are the focus of the room.
The detail
This project is about giving a specific activity its own space. The brief centred on consultations, so the enclosed seating area sits alongside the team’s everyday open-plan workspace.
