Sharjah buildings, and what they mean for installation day

The Al Ittihad Road and Corniche commercial towers are the most common sites we deliver into here. Most have a service lift and a designated loading area, and building management will want the installers' details and a delivery permit arranged before the day. We handle that with them rather than leaving it to your office manager.

Free zone premises, whether in SAIF Zone, Hamriyah or the Sharjah Publishing City and Research and Technology parks, work slightly differently. Gate passes for both the vehicle and the crew are normally required and take a little lead time to arrange, so we ask for the free zone and the unit number at the enquiry stage and start that process early.

The industrial areas and the warehouse and showroom units across Industrial Areas 1 to 18 are the simplest sites of all. Roller shutters, level access, and the vehicle able to get right up to the door. Those installs move quickly.

Two local points worth settling early. Older buildings in Al Nahda, Al Qasimia and Rolla often have small passenger-sized lifts only, so we check the internal dimensions and weight limit against the packed components before a date is agreed. And the heat is a genuine consideration here rather than a talking point: between May and September a glazed pod on a sunny elevation will get warm, and if your sessions run long the air conditioning option is a recommendation we would actually make. Tell us the elevation and the typical session length and we will be straight with you about whether you need it.

What we need to quote your Sharjah project properly

Five things, and they take a minute to send. The full address including the floor and unit. Whether there is a loading bay or service yard, or the vehicle unloads from the street. The goods lift's internal dimensions and weight limit, if the pod is not going on the ground floor. Your building's receiving hours, and whether deliveries or contractors have to be booked or pre-registered. And a name and number for whoever will meet us on the day.

Send those with your enquiry and the quotation comes back with the real installation scope rather than an allowance that changes later. If you are not sure about the lift, say so and we will work it out with your building management.

Installation in Sharjah

Our installers are insured, and we will provide whatever documentation your building management or estate asks for before anyone arrives at the loading bay. Where a building only allows deliveries outside business hours, we schedule around it: evenings and weekends are normal for us rather than an exception you have to negotiate.

A pod is assembled in a morning. Two people can do it with the tools supplied if you would rather handle it in house, and installation is priced as a separate line so you can see exactly what it costs either way. If your site sits outside the metro, we use vetted local contractors and the service and the standard stay the same.

Lead time

Pods are made to the configuration you approve, and the current indicative lead time is around four weeks from a confirmed order, with delivery and installation scheduled on top. Your written quotation confirms the production, shipping and installation window for your address. If you have a date to hit in Sharjah, tell us at the enquiry stage and we will be straight with you about whether it works rather than letting you find out late.

Every model, priced

No quote needed to see what a pod costs. Furniture and installation are separate lines so you can see what each part adds.

Prices are for the pod in the configuration you choose. Finishes, furniture and compatible extras are listed separately as you build. Delivery, destination costs and any applicable tax are confirmed on your written quotation, so the total you approve is the total you pay.

What is included as standard

Every FocusPod arrives with laminated glass front and rear, layered acoustic insulation, adjustable ventilation, dimmable LED lighting with adjustable colour temperature, power and an occupancy light. Speech level reduction is laboratory tested at greater than 29 dB under ISO 23351-1, the international standard written specifically for pods. Every pod is covered by our five-year structural and electrical warranty.

There is no separate charge for the black or white exterior or for the standard interior palette. Other exterior colours use the displayed upgrade price, and a custom interior colour is priced per pod. All of it is listed separately as you build, so nothing arrives as a surprise on the quotation.
